Warrior Health & Fitness Graduation Celebrates Achievement and Community
This quarter, Home Base Arizona proudly celebrated the graduation of our latest Warrior Health & Fitness Warriors. The ceremony recognized the dedication, perseverance, and hard work of participants who committed themselves to improving their health and well-being while building lasting connections with one another.
Throughout the program, one of the most rewarding aspects is watching participants discover each other’s unique wellness journeys. Each participant enters the program with personal goals and experiences, and leave with new wellness tools, greater confidence, and a stronger community standing beside them.

Hosted in partnership with the Phoenix Center for the Arts’ Canvas of Courage program, the graduation highlighted not only the accomplishments of our participants, but also the importance of community in supporting long-term wellness. Canvas of Courage welcomed graduates, families, and guests into their creative spaces and provided a unique opportunity for attendees to contribute to a collaborative paint-by-number artwork throughout the event. As each person added their own brushstrokes, the piece became a meaningful reflection of the collective support and connection that make programs like Warrior Health & Fitness so impactful.
Following the graduation ceremony, attendees were invited to participate in a Veteran resource fair designed to help graduates and their families continue building support networks beyond the program. We were honored to welcome several outstanding community partners, including Co-Op Survival, Guardian Garage, Wounded Warrior Project, and the Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services. Each organization shared information about their programs and services creating opportunities for meaningful conversations and connections.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to this graduating class and thank our partners at Canvas of Courage and the participating organizations who helped make this celebration possible. Together, we are building a stronger, healthier, and more connected military-connected community throughout Arizona.
