Native American Care
Home Base addresses the unique needs of Native American Veterans, Service Members, Military Families and Families of the Fallen to help heal their invisible wounds of war at no cost to them.
Helping Military-Connected Native Americans Heal
Native Americans serve in the U.S. Armed Forces at higher rates than any other ethnic group. Yet, the unique needs of Native American Veterans, Service Members and their Families facing challenges with geography, infrastructure and access to specialty care make it exponentially more difficult for those impacted by the invisible wounds.
Native American Veterans, Service Members and their Families are eligible for all Home Base programming and have the option to attend programs specifically tailored for them. To connect to care, click the button below.
Native American-Specific Programs
Native Intensive Clinical Program
Our innovative Native Intensive Clinical Program (ICP) was built upon our flagship ICP through consultation with Native American Veterans, tribal leaders and healthcare administrators. The Native ICP provides sought-after healing and lifesaving care to Native American Veterans, Service Members and their Families at no out-of-pocket cost to them.
Our next cohort is June 17-28, 2025, at our National Center of Excellence in Boston. Click here to register.
Outcomes from our first cohort in December 2023 include:
100% OF THE VETERAN PARTICIPANTS “agreed” or “strongly agreed” that they felt satisfied with the clinical care; they had confidence and trust in the clinician(s) they met; the help they received made a difference in their life; the care they received has helped them function better; and their support person’s involvement contributed to their progress.
THE MAJORITY OF THE VETERAN PARTICIPANTS saw a decrease of anxiety and depression as well as a decrease in posttraumatic stress disorder and depression symptoms, and would recommend Home Base to another Native American Veteran who is having a difficult time.
Mobilized Intensive Clinical Program
Home Base Arizona and San Carlos Apache Healthcare are proud to announce a collaboration to support Native American Veterans, Service Members and their Families – bringing healing to those affected by the invisible wounds of war and allowing for gold-standard care to be delivered to provide wraparound healing and support – from February 14-21, 2025, in Peridot, AZ.
To register, click here or call toll-free at 833-865-0500 (weekdays, 6 a.m.-3 p.m. MT). Please leave a voicemail if no one is available to answer your call.
The Mobilized Intensive Clinical Program, available at no out-of-pocket cost, provides individual and group therapies, mindful movement, physical wellness training and nutrition based on individuals’ needs. After completing the program, participants will be connected to services near their tribal communities.
