Sarah Blanchette

Sarah is a Massachusetts native who now resides in southwest Florida. Sarah spent 2006 to 2010 in the United States Air Force as a Security Forces member. During her time in the military, Sarah patrolled Robins Air Force Base, attended various training courses around the country, and multiple deployments. She has spent time in Kuwait, Iraq, HOA and 16 other countries while flying on C-130s.

Sarah achieved multiple awards both personally and as a unit, such as BMT Honor Graduate, Ops Assessment Team Superior Performer, 322 AEW Tuskegee Team Award and many others. She was a member of the FAST team and the Air Force Office of Special Investigations Tactical Security Element as a lead convoy driver.

Sarah is a very proud mother to an exceptional daughter who stands behind her mom in all her ventures. Sarah’s connection to Home Base began in 2016 and has remained close to the organization all these years and is absolutely honored to be an official part of the team. You can find Sarah on the weekends getting muddy and covered in fur while volunteering at Shy Wolf Sanctuary. She is also working on achieving her sky diving license. Sarah doesn’t believe in setting limits, even as an amputee. “The best way to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, is to live.”
