Home Base Adventure Series: Mystic Seaport
For more than 90 years Mystic Seaport Museum has welcomed guests from around the globe to celebrate America’s maritime heritage! Located on the Mystic River, in quaint Mystic, CT we invite you to climb aboard historic vessels, experience stories of 19th century life in a waterfront village, marvel at the restoration work of our skilled shipwrights, and be inspired by world class exhibitions that celebrate the sea. Home Base’s package includes museum admission, and a choice between three activities: a planetarium show, a boat ride on the Mystic River, or toy boat building. Start your summer off strong with a beautiful day on the water!
The event will be on Saturday, June 10th beginning at 10:00 am at 75 Greenmanville Ave., Mystic, CT 06355. Home Base will have a picnic lunch at 12 pm on the town green – lunch is not provided, please bring your lunch and a blanket! Children of any age are welcome to attend and the museum is fully wheelchair and stroller-accessible (though it is not possible to bring a wheelchair or stroller on the ships). Parking is free for museum visitors. Tickets are limited for this event and Home Base will likely run a lottery. Register by Friday, May 26th, at 5 pm for a chance to attend!
