Description: Are you looking for a romantic activity to surprise your special someone with this Valentine’s Day? Come join us at Mudflat Pottery to create in clay! You’ll have so much fun learning different handbuilding techniques like pinching, coiling, and slab to make your creation unique. Each participant can keep 1 finished piece. Please note that clay needs to be fired in the kiln to become a permanent finished product. Therefore, the pieces will be available 4 weeks after the workshop.

The event will be on Saturday, February 11th from 2-4 pm at Mudflat Pottery School, 81 Broadway, Somerville, MA 02145. The studio is wheelchair accessible. Parking at Mudflat is on-street along Broadway at parking meters. Meters are active from 8 am – 8 pm, Monday through Saturday. There is also a public pay parking lot opposite the Orange Line Sullivan Square T station at 1 Broadway, an 8 minute walk to Mudflat. Register by Monday, January 30th at 5 pm for a chance to attend!
