Zachary Ginsburg

Zachary is a 3rd year doctoral psychology student at William James College, pursuing the Military and Veteran Psychology concentration. Zachary has dedicated his career to serving the veteran population in various capacities, including as a case manager for homeless veterans through the VA’s SSVF program, and as a graduate level psychology student within the VA. Zachary has experience working within the VA substance use inpatient program at the Lyons VA, and at the outpatient neurology clinic for memory disorders at the Jamaica Plain VA. He has recently collaborated with the Army STARRS research program to further investigate causes of veteran homelessness. Zachary is passionate about Home Base’s mission to empower veterans in their transition to civilian life and to help veterans overcome challenges related to their service. He views working at Home Base to be the greatest privilege in his career because of the resilience and spirit of every Home Base client he meets. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, rock climbing, snowboarding, and traveling to see more of the country.
