Dr. Hartvigsen is a board-certified psychiatrist with subspecialty board certification in Forensic Psychiatry.  After fulfilling his active duty service obligation as an Army Psychiatrist, he couldn’t resist extending his last assignment in southern Germany for another round of Bavarian adventure at the Grafenwoehr Truppenubungsplatz.  Upon completion of his Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at MGH/HMS, Dr. Hartvigsen joined the Home Base team where it remains his distinct privilege to continue serving our nation’s Service Members, Veterans, and Family Members with a spectacular team of dedicated professionals.
