Kaitlin Picard, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Kaitlin Picard is joining Home Base with 8 years of experience in addressing the mental health needs of individuals and communities. She graduated from Tufts University in 2012 with her Bachelor of Science in Biology and upon graduation worked in community-based mental healthcare providing in-home support for adults with chronic mental illness. In an effort to strengthen her skills in the service of others, Kaitlin attended MGH Institute of Health Professions, and obtained both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing in 2017.  As a registered nurse, Kaitlin worked in the Boston area at a methadone clinic and crisis stabilization unit, developing a special interest in co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Prior to joining Home Base, Kaitlin worked on Cape Cod as a psychiatric nurse practitioner for a dual-diagnosis mental health and substance use partial hospitalization program. Kaitlin is honored to support Veterans and their families through her role as a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Home Base.
