Julie Sutherland is a clinical social worker and graduate of Simmons University with a Certification in Trauma Practice. Julie originally worked as an intern in the Intensive Clinical Program in the Fall of 2025 conducting case management and co-facilitating groups before joining full time in the Spring of 2026. Prior to joining Home Base, Julie worked as an Intake Coordinator and Clinical Operations Manager for a group mental health practice and served as an AmeriCorps Survivor Link Member, focusing on prevention efforts for gender-based violence. Julie earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Assumption University in 2023, with a concentration in pre-clinical counseling and mental health. She is committed to supporting service members through her work at Home Base and is devoted to ensuring they have a strong team of care behind them.
