Jocelyn joins Home Base through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC) where she will
serve as an Outreach Coordinator for one year. Before joining JVC, Jocelyn earned her
Bachelor’s of Science in Neurobiology at the University of California, San Diego. During
her time in undergrad, she worked as a biology tutor, mentored first-generation
students, and became involved in her school’s Newman Center. After graduating,
Jocelyn worked as a Donor Technician at the San Diego Blood Bank.

Jocelyn is passionate about serving others and hopes to become a physician who
specializes in Emergency Medicine. In her free time, she loves to try new coffee shops,
run and lift weights to stay active, and spend time with loved ones. Additionally, Jocelyn
enjoys learning from others and can’t wait to learn from the veteran community at Home
Base.
