Jared is a third year social work graduate student from Simmons University with a passion for helping people understand and heal from trauma. Jared comes to us from McLean Hospital’s LEADER Program, where they provide compassionate, trauma-informed care for veterans, law enforcement officers, and emergency responders. After over 5 years at the hospital, they have cultivated a strong skillset in group facilitation and individual counseling for a broad spectrum of mental health conditions. Jared will be joining the Home Base team as a social work intern in the ICP. An avid reader and musician, Jared strives to bring humor, creativity, and individuality to the treatment experience. When away from Home base, you will most likely find Jared exploring in nature, curled up with their cats, or finding a new favorite spot for dinner in the city.
