Brian Macone, PsyD
Brian considers it a privilege to serve Veterans, Service Members, and Military Families as a member of the Home Base Program. With many friends and family members who served or are still serving, he enthusiastically believes in the HBP mission. He spent two years training in Veterans Affairs hospitals, has run road races to benefit VSOs, and volunteered his time with the National Veterans Wheelchair games.
Originally from Medford, MA, Brian earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston University then a doctorate in clinical psychology from La Salle University in Philadelphia. He completed predoctoral internship with the VA Central Western Massachusetts in Northampton and Springfield, then a clinical neuropsychology fellowship through the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He was thrilled to return to the Boston area and join the Home Base team in 2019. When he’s not working, Brian is often hiking the woods of the north shore with his dog and his family.
