Quail Creek Country Club’s 6th Annual Salute to Veterans Golf and Dinner Raised $185,000 for Home Base Florida

Veterans and Military Families receiving care from Home Base Florida will benefit from $185,000 raised at the 6th Annual Salute to Veterans Golf and Dinner hosted by Quail Creek Country Club on February 7, 2026. Over the last six years, Quail Creek Country Club has raised more than $840,000 for the Home Base mission to empower Veterans and Service Members to take control of their mental and physical well-being, provide tools to help manage stress, and provide a portal for more complex care for those in need of treatment for the invisible wounds.

The tournament committee was led by Home Base Florida Senior Advisor and Quail Creek resident, retired Brigadier General Ed Dyer and Tournament Director and Quail Creek Country Club Golf Professional Scott Kash who received the PGA HOPE Patriot Award at the dinner for his dedication to serving Veterans through the game of golf.

The action-packed day included an 18-hole scramble golf experience followed by a dinner and reception. Home Base Florida Veteran participants were teamed up with foursomes in the golf experience to give donors the opportunities to learn first-hand how their generosity impacts local Veterans. During the dinner, attendees had the opportunity to hear from the keynote speaker, Medal of Honor recipient Retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Ryan M. Pitts.

“The ongoing partnership between Home Base Florida and Quail Creek Country Club truly makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our local Veterans and their Families,” said General Dyer. “Each year, the Salute to Veterans Golf and Dinner grows in support, enthusiasm, and community involvement. We are honored by the generosity and spirit of everyone who participates, and we are grateful this year’s successful event has expanded its impact in the years ahead.”
