Suicide Prevention Program

Since 2001, over 100,000 Veterans have lost their lives to suicide. Home Base is committed to healing the invisible wounds that increase suicide risk in Veterans through its statewide Suicide Prevention Program.

Project 20 > 0

One in three Veterans returns home with mental health concerns that can lead to an increased risk of suicide, yet only half of at-risk Veterans receive any mental health treatment. Nearly 20 Veterans lose their life to suicide each day. In our Commonwealth, that sobering statistic has increased, affecting families, friends, and neighbors in our community.

The Suicide Prevention Program at Home Base is a community-driven ecosystem that trains a network of clinicians and partners to identify at-risk Veterans and connect them to evidence based therapy in their own communities.
