Dear Home Base Florida Family,

This Memorial Day, as we honor those who, in President Lincoln words, gave that last full measure of devotion for our nation, we also acknowledge the profound impact of that sacrifice on Gold Star Families. Our Veterans also share a common bond carrying with us solemn memories of brothers and sisters in arms who gave their lives in service—each name embodying personal courage, honor, and service above self.

At Home Base Florida, our commitment strives to honor our fallen by supporting the wellness and healing of those they leave behind. Our programs are designed to address the invisible wounds of service—like PTSD, TBI, anxiety, and depression—ensuring that care and support are available for all our Veterans, Their Families and our Gold Star Families.

As we reflect on the bravery of those we’ve lost, we also focus on our mission to provide healing and support. This Memorial Day, let us renew our dedication to all who serve and their families. Let us ensure that their sacrifices are honored through meaningful action and continued care.

This day is deeply personal to each of us for different reasons. For us, it is a reminder of the unspoken bond of trust created among Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines—the trust to look after one another and our families, no matter what. As we pay tribute to the fallen, we embrace this fulfilment of that trust as our guiding mission.
