Adventure Series: Portland Sea Dogs Baseball Game
At Home Base, we love baseball – not just the Boston Red Sox, but their Double-A affiliate team, the Portland Sea Dogs, too! Join us up in Maine for a game against the Reading Fightin Phils. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Evergreen Subaru of Auburn and Partners Bank of Sanford, Home Base will be in the Corporate Corner with an all-you-can-eat picnic buffet before the game and seats along the third base line. This is your chance to enjoy a beautiful Maine summer night and get an up close and personal view of baseball’s biggest future stars before they make it to the Major Leagues. Last year, the Portland Sea Dogs were the recipient of the Bob Freitas Award, recognizing excellence in Double-A ball from the players to the managers to the hot dog vendors.
The game will be on Saturday, June 24th starting at 6 pm at Hadlock Field, 271 Park Ave., Portland, Maine 04102. Dinner will be hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, pulled BBQ chicken sandwiches, coleslaw, beans, Coca-Cola beverages, and Sea Dogs Biscuits (special ice cream sandwiches). Minor-league baseball is known for a family-friendly environment and kids of all ages are welcome. The ballpark is wheelchair accessible. Tickets are limited for this event and Home Base will likely run a lottery. Register by Friday, June 9th, at 5 pm for a chance to attend!
