Home Base and Massachusetts Military Heroes Fund invite you to take part in a care package service project to support active duty service members and veterans.

After review of the weather forecast for this Monday September 11th, we are moving the location of our annual 9/11 Service Project to Support Our Troops & Families from the Rose Kennedy Greenway in Boston to our rain site at IBEW Local 103 Freeport Hall, located at 256 Freeport Street in Dorchester.

This event will offer you the opportunity to give back to our community in a positive way on September 11th, now a National Day of Service and Remembrance.

Activities will include building military care packages for our service men and women overseas, writing letters of support to our troops and veterans, and building care packages for our local veterans in need.
