Resilient Youth was developed by the Massachusetts General Hospital Child Resiliency Program and Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine. Resilient Youth draws from well-established, evidence-based interventions to manage stress and build resilience in children, adolescents and young adults. Sessions explore our physical and cognitive responses to stress and provide opportunities to develop and practice self-care and resiliency skills to buffer stress and improve overall health and well-being.
Elementary (1st-4th grade) and middle (5th-8th grade) schoolers meet for weekly 45-minute sessions, while teens (ages 14-19) meet for single 90-minute sessions. These Home Base facilitated groups foster community and understanding specifically for Military-connected youth.
If you’d like us to offer an in-person or virtual resilience workshop outside of the listed dates, please complete a registration form indicating your interest and we will reach out to you.
