Stories of Hope: Meet Yuma Haidara, Navy Veteran and Home Base Marathon Team Member

Navy Veteran Yuma is a past participant who now Races for Home Base. Yuma has run already run in 3 races for Home Base and will run once again for Home Base in the Boston Marathon next month!

Home Base saved my life because they were the first step in my healing,” said Yuma. “The more funds we get, the more Veterans we can help, and there’s a lot of Veterans in this country suffering. So for me, it’s all about giving back and making sure everyone knows it’s OK not to be OK.”
