Sarah Horwitz

Sarah Horwitz graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2021 with a B.A. in Psychological & Brain Sciences and Spanish. During her time in undergrad, she worked as a research assistant in an emotion and psychopathology lab, assisting with research related to emotion regulation within married couples, and the relationship between depression and indecision. She later worked as a research assistant in a developmental psychiatry lab. During her senior year, Sarah completed her honors thesis on the collective memory of the last military dictatorship in Argentina. Outside of the classroom, she also volunteered as a counselor for a sexual assault and rape peer support helpline, deepening her research interests in psychopathology, trauma, and PTSD. Later in her career, Sarah hopes to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology.
