Rebecca Vernier

Rebecca Vernier is a MSW graduate student at Boston College School of Social Work. She completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of North Carolina Wilmington in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Strategy. Prior to making a career change into social work, Rebecca worked in the banking sector lending money for renewable energy projects through the USDA REAP and B&I programs. In her first-year graduate internship with the Town Social Worker of Sudbury, Rebecca assisted residents through case management and community resource education.

At Home Base, Rebecca will support Veterans and their families as a clinical social worker in the Outpatient Clinic and through the SOAR (Skills-Based Outpatient Addiction and Recovery) Program. Rebecca’s interests in social work revolve around clinical mental health counseling and substance use.
