Patrick Smith
Patrick’s Military experience spans over twenty years with numerous deployments to Iraq as well as Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Throughout his time in the Army, Patrick’s experiences varied from FIRES and Targeting NCO, Observer Controller/Trainer for the Pre-Training Mobilization Assistance Element, Military Police Officer, Detainee Operations NCO and Operations NCO for the Homeland Security Institute which provided General Officer education at the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government. He also served as the Enlisted Aide de Camp to the Land Component Commander and Command Group, Massachusetts Army National Guard during both the Boston marathon bombing and numerous natural disasters. Prior to retiring from the Army, Patrick served as the Training NCO for the 772nd Military Police Company the oldest company-sized element in the U.S. Army. Patrick received his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UMASS Boston and is currently enrolled in the Master’s in Public Administration program at UMASS Boston.
