Growing up in a military family, Oren has always felt a strong connection to our country and its armed forces. Oren graduated from the University of Rochester in 2020 where he studied Public Health and American Studies. Outside of the classroom, Oren volunteered as a campus EMT and worked as a Research Assistant in the Cognitive Neurophysiology Lab. He is an alum of the Alpha Zeta chapter of Theta Chi, a fraternity with deep military roots. Oren volunteers as a call taker and mentor with Call2Talk, a local emotional support and mental health awareness hotline. He loves to swim, ski, hike, cook, and spend time with friends. After his time at Home Base, Oren plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
