Lauren Rodriguez is a United States Coast Guard veteran, Exercise Science professional, and veteran advocate dedicated to improving the health and well-being of service members, veterans, and military families.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Florida Gulf Coast University, where she served as President of the Student Veterans of America (SVA) chapter. During her tenure, Lauren led initiatives focused on veteran engagement, mentorship, scholarship opportunities, and community partnerships, helping student veterans connect with resources that supported both their academic and personal success. Her commitment to service and leadership was recognized through numerous honors, including being named FGCU’s Student of the Year, along side being top ten finalist for Student Veteran of the Year on a national level, and receiving the Dr. Elaine Nicpon Marieb Scholarship and the Sterling Oaks Legacy Scholarship.

In addition to her campus leadership, Lauren has represented student veterans at the national level through Student Veterans of America leadership development and training programs, collaborating with veteran leaders from across the country to strengthen support for the military-connected community.

Lauren is also the founder of Vethub, a digital platform dedicated to sharing veteran stories, resources, and opportunities. Through interviews, educational content, and community-focused storytelling, she has worked to increase awareness of veteran issues while highlighting the resilience, accomplishments, and experiences of the military community.

Lauren’s passion for veteran advocacy is rooted in her own military experience and her belief that connection, purpose, and community are essential to long-term well-being. She is honored to join the Home Base team and contribute to an organization that is transforming the lives of veterans, service members, military families, and families of the fallen through world-class clinical care, wellness programs, education, and research.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys running, traveling, creating digital content, and spending time with family and friends.
