Katelyn Desrosiers
Dr. Katelyn Desrosiers is a licensed clinical psychologist at Home Base. Prior to joining the team at Home Base, Dr. Desrosiers served four years on active duty as a psychologist in the Navy. During her time in service, she worked primarily with the submarine community in Groton, CT. After separating from active duty, she worked for Health Psychology Associates, a group private practice in Boston, as a staff psychologist. Through this transition, Dr. Desrosiers realized her heart was still with the military population. Her passion to continue to serve veterans and their families brought her to Home Base.
Dr. Desrosiers completed her undergraduate studies at The College of the Holy Cross and received her Psy.D. from William James College. She completed her APA accredited pre-doctoral internship at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Virginia, specializing in the treatment of PTSD and fitness for duty assessments. Dr. Desrosiers specializes in evidence-based treatments for PTSD, as well as co-occurring mood, anxiety, and sleep disorders. She is trained in Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, among other therapy modalities.
Dr. Desrosiers is a native of Maine and outside of Home Base, she is passionate about the outdoors and animals. She enjoys spending time with her family by the beach or in the woods and has a track record of rescuing a variety of animals in need along the way.
