Karen Notch
Karen Notch is a Family Support Specialist at Home Base. Prior to this position, she was the Director of Operations and Administration at Leadership for a Networked World, an organization that designs and executes thought leadership and transformational learning experiences for senior executives.
Karen spent much of her career in higher education administration. She began her career at Harvard Kennedy School managing executive education programs for senior military officers from all over the world. Upon moving to Washington, D.C. in 2013, she became the senior program manager for George Washington University’s National Security Studies Program, an executive education program designed for senior U.S. and international military officers and government officials. In 2016, Karen returned to Boston to become the Program Manager for the undergraduate International Relations Program at Tufts University. In this capacity, she also co-developed and was the inaugural director of the International Relations Pre-College Intensive two-week summer program designed for high school students interested in global affairs.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Massachusetts – Boston and a Master of International Policy and Practice from George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
Karen is married to a retired U.S. Army Colonel. They live south of Boston with their two spoiled dogs, Rudy and Ralphie, who run the house.
