Julie Sutherland is a clinical social work intern at Home Base in the Intensive Clinical Program. She is currently pursuing her master’s in social work at Simmons University, with a certification in trauma practice. Julie is passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma and is dedicated to helping veterans and their families navigate life transitions.

Prior to joining Home Base, Julie worked as an Intake Coordinator for a group mental health practice and served as an AmeriCorps Survivor Link Member, focusing on prevention efforts for gender-based violence. She currently holds the role of Clinical Operations Manager at Equilibria Mental Health.

Julie earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Assumption University in 2023, with a concentration in pre-clinical counseling and mental health. She is committed to supporting veterans through her work at Home Base and is devoted to ensuring they have a strong team of care and support behind them.
