Jose Navarro-Robles

Prior to joining Home Base in November 2019, Jose has about a decade’s worth of social services experience. Applying his skill set as a fine art photographer, Jose began his work in social service by teaching analog and digital photography to at-risk and incarcerated youth in Providence, RI. Having found this experience resonated with him, he continued to develop his skill set by working with vulnerable populations in different capacities for various organizations. Most recently Jose was an organizer and program coordinator in a historically-Puerto Rican neighborhood in the South End of Boston working with low-income individuals and families. In his role as Volunteer Coordinator,  Jose is responsible for the on-boarding and management of ICP volunteers, as well as assists in the management of volunteers at Home Base Signature Events.  Jose is also a key member of the team building the volunteer community serving Home Base Veterans and Military Families.
