Grace O’Halloran, M.S. CF-SLP

Grace is a Speech Language Pathologist on the Brain Health Team. She gets to take part in both the Outpatient and 2-week ICP programming here at Home Base. On a personal level, the opportunity to work for Home Base is special because of the veteran presence in her own family.

Grace completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Spanish at the University of New Hampshire in 2021. She then earned her M.S. Speech Language Pathology Degree in 2023 at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. She has worked in a variety of settings before her time at Home Base, including early childhood Head Start programs, family-based therapy for young children, and neurorehabilitation with the adult outpatient population. It was in this adult outpatient position that she discovered how much she enjoyed working with adults who have speech, language, voice, and/or cognitive difficulties. Specifically, Grace has a strong interest in working within the area of cognitive rehab and traumatic brain injury. She believes it is a privilege to work alongside the veteran and service member populations as they learn more about their brains and explore different strategies so that they can return to doing the things that are important to them.
