Danielle Leahy

Danielle Leahy graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2016 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science as well as in Justice Studies. During her time here, she lived in London for 4 months and traveled extensively throughout Europe. Here, she discovered her passion for helping others in all capacities, which initially lead her to the legal field upon graduation. Prior to Home Base, she worked as a Claims Manager, overseeing cases and leading clients to obtain Social Security Disability benefits through the federal government, while also providing emotional support along the way. Going forward, she will be pursuing a Master’s Degree in Social Work and plans to work within the mental health field, assisting those who have been impacted by trauma and trauma-related disorders.

In her spare time, she volunteers for a dog rescue to help abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs to find safe and loving homes. While she is not doing this, she can also often be found cheering on her favorite Boston sports teams.
