Crystal Cain

Crystal Cain is a former Hospital Corpsman of the US Navy, serving with distinction from 2014 to 2019. She was primarily stationed at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune and the MCI-East Regional Brig. While at NMCCL, Crystal earned two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals for her enlisted leadership in launching the country’s first military-operated patient transfer center. Honorably discharged as a Petty Officer Third Class, Crystal’s commitment to service and community continues to shape her career and personal life. Though originally from Oregon, her fondness for Boston and New England’s rich cultural heritage and community spirit has made her consider this region her home.


After transitioning to civilian life, Crystal pursued academic excellence, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Golden Gate University in 2023. She is currently advancing her dedication to mental health advocacy by pursuing a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and working towards her licensure as a Mental Health Counselor.


Outside of her professional endeavors, Crystal is passionate about photography and enjoys sharing her international travel experiences and itinerary services on her blog.
