Bannon Jones

Bannon graduated from Grinnell College in 2025 with a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology. As an undergraduate, Bannon conducted research investigating the quality and accessibility of mental health care for incarcerated women, focusing on the role of trauma in shaping their experience with incarceration, recidivism, and the effectiveness of care. Before Home Base, she worked as a Mental Health Specialist on a locked inpatient unit at McLean Hospital, providing care for those experiencing acute psychosis. Bannon has also engaged in research studying treatment adherence, collective action, and tech-facilitated sexual violence. Bannon is interested in how social institutions, inequalities, and biological predispositions intersect within clinical psychology and how early interventions can reduce harm. Ultimately, she plans to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology. Outside of work, you will likely find Bannon rock climbing or at the park with her dog, Louie.
