Resilient Family

Resilient Family is a 6-session educational mind-body course that helps Military-connected Family Members – including members of Families of the Fallen – manage their stress more effectively.

What is Resilient Family?

At Home Base, we believe that when on Family Member serves, the entire Family serves. Resilient Family, developed by Home Base in collaboration with the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital, is a six-session series of free courses designed to reduce the impact of stress on Military Families and Families of the Fallen through a variety of mind-body techniques as well as skill-building exercises scientifically shown to improve medical symptoms, mood and well-being.

If you’d like us to offer an in-person or virtual resilience workshop outside of the listed dates, please complete a registration form indicating your interest and we will reach out to you.

– Mondays, February 3-March 17, 2025, at 7-8:30 p.m. ET *There will be no session on February 17, 2025, in observance of Presidents’ Day

– FOR FAMILIES OF THE FALLEN: Tuesdays, March 4-April 8, 2025, at 7-8:30 p.m. ET

– Wednesdays, April 30-June 4, 2025, at 2-3:30 p.m. ET

About the Program

The program provides participants with:

  • Changing negative thoughts and behaviors to help manage stress

    Offered at no cost to the participant

  • Eligibility

    Family Members of Veterans regardless of their discharge status or era of service, Active Duty National Guard and Reserve Service Members, and Fallen Warriors.
