Meghan joined the Home Base team as a Social Work intern while studying for her MSW through Boston University. She is a Massachusetts native from a military family, with her grandparents, great uncles, father, and brothers serving across the different branches. She joined the Air Force in 2009 and was active through 2017 as a Ground Radar Maintainer and Quality Assurance Supervisor. She deployed to Joint Base Balad, Iraq in 2011 and Kandahar Air Force Base, Afghanistan in 2014. Due to an accumulation of injuries over her career, she was given a medical retirement in 2017 as a Staff Sergeant.   

After retirement, Meghan attended the University of Massachusetts Boston and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2020. She spent two years working at a local non-profit supporting members in the community living with complex mental health disorders with co-occurring substance use issues. She plans to continue working within the military community serving her fellow veterans upon her graduation.
