Katherine Beavis
Katherine serves veterans and their families at Home Base as a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Senseye trial. She graduated from the University of Chicago with degrees in Classics and Art History, then completed the University of Virginia’s post-bac pre-med program. Outside of the classroom, Katherine volunteered in a transitional care hospital, researched the effects of air pollution on neurocognitive development, and worked in campus EMS. Her father served in the Canadian army and her grandfather served in the British Army. Katherine plans to apply to medical school after her time at Home Base.
