Kate Basile, MSW, LICSW received her Masters of Social Work at Boston College. Prior to joining Home Base, Kate worked at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit, where she provided crisis intervention and ongoing support to parents and families with an infant in the NICU. Kate also has significant experience working with men incarcerated in the county and state corrections system. In that capacity, Kate worked with incarcerated men with significant trauma histories, substance use disorders, major mental illness, and personality disorders. She provided crisis intervention, in addition to ongoing individual psychotherapy, and group therapy. At Home Base, Kate will support Veterans and their families as a clinical social worker in the Intensive Outpatient Program.
