Cory Stasko
Cory is the Associate Director of Business Analytics and Systems Engineering at Home Base, overseeing the technical work required to support databases, custom software, system integration, statistical analyses, and reporting. He graduated from Northeastern University in 2013 with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering concentrated in healthcare delivery systems, and a minor in health economics. He then worked for two years at the Healthcare Systems Engineering Institute at Northeastern, managing healthcare quality improvement and analytics projects.
Cory then went to MIT for his Master’s in Technology and Policy, where he studied the intersection of systems engineering and healthcare policy. His thesis investigated the socio-technical systems by which the VA manages its logistics policies. Most recently, Cory worked as a Senior Researcher at the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission. Cory is most interested in the design, integration, and evolution of statistical and modeling analyses within healthcare delivery systems. He also loves to learn about new analytic and visualization tools.
