Developed by Home Base clinical psychologist Lauren Richards-Donegan and licensed clinical social worker Ann Stewart, the Impact of Trauma Educational Series is a four-session educational group series for Veterans, Service Members and adult members of Military Families interested in learning about the impact of trauma on mental health. The sessions focus on providing information about posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other posttraumatic reactions, including an overview of the symptoms of both PTSD and other mood disorders; a review of some of the evidence-based therapies offered at Home Base to treat these conditions; and discussion about how trauma exposure can impact relationships.

Sessions are held virtually, via Zoom, every Monday from 11 AM-12:15 PM ET, typically beginning the first Monday of each month. Attending all four sessions is recommended, as each session builds on the previous material. Please note that this program is educational in nature. Click here to register.

Who will benefit from this series?
