Resilient Youth was developed by the Massachusetts General Hospital Child Resiliency Program and Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine. Resilient Youth draws from well-established, evidence-based interventions to manage stress and build resilience in children, adolescents and young adults. Sessions explore our physical and cognitive responses to stress and provide opportunities to develop and practice self-care and resiliency skills to buffer stress and improve overall health and well-being.
Groups meet for 45 minutes, in age appropriate sections for elementary schoolers (1st-4th grade), middle schoolers (5th-8th grade) and teens ages 14-19. These Home Base facilitated groups foster community and understanding specifically for Military-connected youth.
