Natasha Kelty

Natasha Kelty was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in both Sociology and Human Development and had earned her graduate degree at Northeastern University in Education. Prior to joining the Home Base team, Natasha taught in Los Angeles, California and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where she also served as a Lead Teacher and Curriculum Specialist for grades K-12.

Natasha enlisted into the Navy as a Master-at-Arms from 2003-2007 and was stationed at NSA Gaeta and NAS Sigonella where she helped develop, manage and provide acute oversite for special events and individual force protection plans, ensuring the safety of military members and their dependents stationed and living overseas. In addition, Natasha worked with the Training and Development team to spearhead the review, rewrite and implementation of the base’s Antiterrorism Plan which significantly reduced vulnerabilities and properly trained security personnel resulting in dramatically increased readiness. Natasha also served as a SAVI (Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention) advocate for her department.

Natasha is also married to a Veteran of an SF medic who had served with the AUD (Australian Defence Force) and raising 2 children, so meeting the unique needs of service members who have served in the Special Forces community are near and dear to her heart. She understands the sacrifices a family has to make and hopes to support not only the service members and veterans, but their families as well.
