Julia Hackel is a MSW graduate student at Simmons School of Social Work. She is a current intern at Home Base, working in the Intensive Clinical Program (ICP). Julia previously interned at a community-based mental health day treatment program, where she ran a therapy group on emotions and worked with individual clients. Julia’s clinical interests include working with traumatized populations, incorporating mindfulness into Western therapeutic approaches, and connecting to the whole person through a holistic approach to therapy.
