Born September 11, 2015, Gatsby (AKA Private Gatsby) joined the Home Base team as a Behavioral Health Facility Dog in November 2017 after undergoing months of training with Canine Companions for Independence. The Golden Retriever/Yellow Lab mix primarily works with the ICP (Intensive Clinical Program). He has active role interacting with the Veterans and Family Members who come through this two-week program. He also attends  Home Base Outreach events.
