Elizabeth Calabresi

Elizabeth Calabresi is a clinical social worker and a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley School of Social Work. She completed her B.S. in Psychology at Yale University. Now that she’s returned home to New England, she is eager to apply the therapeutic skills she learned at her former position with Kaiser Permanente while engaging in ongoing learning here at Home Base. As an intern for Kaiser, Elizabeth worked within an integrated healthcare framework to provide consultation services and individual and group therapy for adolescents and families with mental illnesses. Elizabeth values utilizing a client-centered and evidence-based approach and incorporates anti-oppressive and trauma-informed clinical practices into her work. She firmly believes that bringing empathy and passion to therapeutic spaces helps cultivate meaningful relationships and provides human-oriented and resilience-promoting care. In her free time, Elizabeth loves to walk her dog, read, and play sports.
