Edward Wright, PhD

Edward C. Wright, Ph.D., ABPP, is a board certified clinical psychologist in the Home Base Program, focused primarily on providing treatment for PTSD.  Dr. Wright completed his undergraduate studies at Miami University before receiving his M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from George Mason University. He is experienced in providing cognitive-behavioral therapy for anxiety and depression. For six years prior to joining Home Base in October 2015, Dr. Wright worked as a therapist at Fort Hood, providing prolonged exposure therapy (PE) for PTSD in the first large-scale study of PE with active duty Service Members. He is certified as a Supervisor and Master Clinician in PE. He is the winner of an American Psychological Association Early Career Achievement award, and the former President of the Trauma and PTSD Special Interest Group of the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.
