Nutrition: Top Five Summer Recipes

We have summer cooking on the brain, so we wanted to share our top five favorite summer Home Base recipes! Whether you are looking for a refreshing snack, or just want to try something new to bring to a summer BBQ, these are some of our favorite seasonal eats to test out at home!

Watermelon, Feta, and Mint Salad

A salad featuring fresh herbs, fruit, and cheese?! Sign me up! A really refreshing dish, that is a great side to any picnic or BBQ.

 

 

Mango Salsa

This mango salsa is great on almost anything! From adding it into fish tacos, on a summer salad, or just having it with some tortilla chips!

 

 

Baked Salmon with Pineapple Salsa

An elegant yet simple dish to put together! You can serve the pineapple salsa on top of the fish or on the side! If you don’t love seafood, you can easily swap out the salmon for chicken breast and you will be just as satisfied!

 

Lemon Turmeric Hummus

A new twist on the classic hummus! Paired well with either raw veggies or crackers. It is a great dip to have ready to go as an appetizer or a side to go with your lunch!

 

 

Greek Lentil Salad

Lentils are a great plant-based protein source, and the Greek flare on them within this dish is too die for! It is loaded with tons of flavor and veggies, and can be used as either a meal or a side!
