Home Base empowers innovation through four pathways designed to deliver tomorrow’s solutions to Veterans today – Care Models, Unique Approaches, Integrated Care, Research
Care Models
We’ve created first of their kind gold standard clinical care programs designed to match the unique needs of Warriors and their Families with a 90% completion rate.
Our unique program was designed to break stigma and silos by providing up a year of therapy in two weeks with proven results to more than 30K Service Members, Veterans of all eras and their Families.
We provide values driven, evidence-based treatment tools, grounded in military culture and health equity to expand care to Veterans that are under-resources and with limited access mental health services.
Through our unique Special Operations Forces programs (ICP and comBHat) Home Base has served more 350 SOF members, 85% participants were active duty at the time of their treatment, with 95% return to duty rate.
Home Base has bridged a gap in resources by creating a clinical program catering to the unique needs of Families of the Fallen, ensuring the Families of our Heroes are never forgotten.

Scientific Advisory Council Accepting Grant Applications
Home Base FY 2024 Innovation Award to Catalyze Military-Connected Research
Home Base is providing catalyst funding to be used towards innovative and novel military-focused research. The purpose of this grant funding is to stimulate the entry of new ideas and exciting approaches to research designed to yield meaningful impact for Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members and Military-Connected Families. Data from catalyst awards can then be used to seek additional, larger-scale funding from other funding entities to conduct additional investigations. We partner with national experts in shock therapy to provide this solution to the Special Operations Community regularly at no cost.

Reimagining what is possible for those who have lost all hope for a future
Integrated Care
Integrated Mental Health and Brain Injury Care that breaks stigma and silos by conceptualizing the person as stuck not broken through an encouraging, evidence-based model that supports multiple roads to recovery and regaining a sense of wholeness rather than assuming there is only one path for healing.
Experts in PTSD, TBI, and substance use recovery are all housed in the same clinic and work collaboratively as a multidisciplinary team yielding quicker recovery when approaching all areas concurrently while preventing systems-level delays and debates about where a patient “belongs.”
Bridging the resources for Families, these wellness Based Programs for Warriors and their Family are six-session, mind-body courses developed in collaboration with the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (BHI).
We empower Warriors to take control of their physical well-being by providing tools to help manage stress and provide a portal for more complex care for those in need of treatment for the invisible wounds.
