Run to Home Base presented by New Balance – Boston
July 2020

The Run to Home Base presented by New Balance is a yearly charity race that honors our nation’s heroic Veterans and helps raise much needed funds for Home Base. Proceeds from the event will fund the clinical care provided to Veterans and their Families. The Run is a unique 9K run or 5K run/walk through scenic Boston ending with the unforgettable experience of finishing the race by crossing home plate at historic Fenway. There are several ways to participate. Veterans Day Dinner 
November 7, 2019

This November, Home Base will host a special event at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum to honor our nation’s Veterans and their Families. The Home Base Veterans Day Dinner will raise funds to help heal the invisible wounds. The evening is an opportunity for the community to stand together in recognition of the sacrifices made by those who have served in uniform and their loved ones.

Mission: Gratitude

To commemorate the Red Sox vs. Yankees in London Series, Home Base is bringing the Mission: Gratitude Gala overseas and teaming up with Walking With The Wounded to raise significant awareness and funding in support of US & UK Veterans and their Families. The joint initiative will culminate in an intimate dinner for 300 supporters at Kensington Palace in London on Thursday, June 27, and at Game 1 on Saturday, June 29, when the Boston Red Sox take on the New York Yankees at London Stadium. Click here to learn more.

 

 

Veterans Day Special 
November 2019

Home Base’s annual Veterans Day Special is a television event highlighting the multifaceted aspects of Home Base. The broadcast aims to educate the community at large about the invisible wounds of war, and focuses on patients who bravely share their story in hopes of reducing stigma.  The 2015, 2016, and 2017 Veterans Day Specials were nominated for an Emmy Award.
